Backyard Treehouse Is It Legal To Build Something In Your Backyard That Looks Into Other People's Backyards?

Is it legal to build something in your backyard that looks into other people's backyards? - backyard treehouse

The neighbors behind my house has decided to build a tree house next to my fence and must be greater than the barrier, so that children can see my house / garden? I live in Oregon, so I do not know what the laws are built here, but think it should be illegal, something different about someone, I do not d 'privacy in your own garden, and I need help! !

It depends entirely on your city or county standards. If you chose a HOA you will find the rules. Otherwise, check with the palace of the city.

You should talk to neighbors. Perhaps you can explain how you have the habit of sunbathing naked, and you really would prefer the curtain on this side of the tree house.

Depending on where you live and what kind of tree house as you want, you may need a building permit to. There are restrictions on the height and distance from property insurance. In general, permission is required, by ignoring the structure, the house of his neighbor. Talk to your neighbors that you are with the design process. If they know what they may consider less likely to feel as if you invade their privacy.

If you are not sure what is permissible, or, as it must comply with building codes, says the local planning authority or a contractor who is familiar with the building of homes - are covered by these permits and codes every day.

No, it is not illegal "construction", but the invasion of privacy. Poor location of the zoning inspector or the police and the people can come to draw, and decide what to do. Im sure that it is not enough to see home made, but Im not sure it really was so strong.

What's two-story houses? My neighbors can look in my garden from the windows on the second floor of his house, if they so wish.
We expect to have privacy in our homes is illegal, is a "Peeping Tom".
If you want out of privacy is better to go where there are no neighbors.

Search the Internet for the planning and zoning of the people in your city. You can say what the local laws.

Several cities and counties have diffenet rules.

Here are some examples that I found on google "Oregon planning zoning of property"

I think it is illegal to do so, unless written consent of residents. But I'm not sure
